Hossein Dabbagh is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Northeastern University London and Chair of the Research Ethics Committee. He holds affiliate status at Oxford University's Department for Continuing Education. His research focuses on the intersection of ethics and public policy, with expertise in AI ethics, biomedical ethics, neuroethics, and Islamic law and ethics. He earned a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Reading, an MA in Philosophy from Shahid Beheshti University, and a BSc in Business Management from the University of Tehran. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
His research bridges Western and Islamic philosophical traditions, addressing topics like AI-human cooperation, AI ethics literacy, and the ethical implications of biomedical advancements.
