Hope Nordstrom

Dr. Hope Nordstrom serves as Special Counsel to the President for Strategy at Lipscomb University, leading the Office of Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement and co-directing the Center for Vocational Discovery. She holds a faculty appointment as Professor of Strategic Leadership in the College of Leadership and Public Service. Her roles include overseeing Lipscomb Impact 360 strategic planning, managing institutional data teams, and developing leadership programs like GROW Lipscomb. Nordstrom previously directed Lipscomb’s Center for Teaching & Learning and oversaw 200+ online competency-based courses in the College of Professional Studies.

Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s from Tennessee Technological University, Ed.D. from Trevecca Nazarene University. Certifications include Advanced Online Teaching (OLC), OSCQR Scorecard Trainer, and Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach. She consults on strategic leadership in Nashville, designing leadership development, coaching programs, and organizational onboarding.

Teaching focuses on ethical leadership, organizational change, and strategic communications, including a Ph.D. course on resource allocation. Professional activities emphasize bridging academic leadership with institutional strategy.
