Hoo Sun Chung is an Assistant Professor at Ghent University Global Campus, leading a Plant Biotechnology research center. She earned her BSc and MSc in Biology/Chemistry and Plant Molecular Biology at Yonsei University, South Korea, followed by a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Michigan State University, USA, under Prof. Gregg Howe.
