Hongyu Wu

Hongyu Wu is Associate Professor and University Outstanding Scholar in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Kansas State University, holding the Lucas-Rathbone Professorship. He completed postdoctoral training at Illinois Institute of Technology after earning his PhD from Xi'an Jiaotong University. Professional experience includes research roles at National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) and State Grid Energy Research Institute.

Research focuses on:

• Renewable energy integration and grid resilience
• Demand-side management and electricity markets
• Cybersecurity in power infrastructure
