Hong Wang

Dr. Hong Wang is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education at Mount Saint Vincent University. Their research focuses on TESL/TEFL policies, teacher education, and immigrant teachers' professional development. They hold a PhD from Queen’s University, MA degrees from Carleton University and Xi’an Foreign Languages University, and a BA from Northwest University. Dr. Wang has secured grants including a SSHRC-funded study on test preparation impacts and a New Scholars Grant investigating ESL teachers' professional development needs in Canada.
