Holly King is a Part-time Instructor in the Painting & Drawing program at Concordia University. She holds a BFA from Université de Laval and an MFA from York University. Her artistic practice spans photography, drawing, and public art, with international exhibitions in institutions such as the Centre Pompidou (Paris), Kaoshiung Museum of Fine Arts (Taiwan), and the Contemporary Art Museum in Mexico City. Notable works include the solo exhibition Landscapes of the Imagination (1999) at the Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal, which toured Canada, and major public commissions for the Concordia EV Building, CHSLD de l'Amiante, and Séminaire de Sherbrooke.
Currently represented by Galerie Art Mûr in Montreal, King is preparing a series of large-scale monochromatic photographs for a 2009 exhibition. She has taught at Concordia since 1983, contributing to the Painting & Drawing program while maintaining an active career in both studio and public art.
