Holly Janes, PhD is Professor and Head of the Biostatistics, Bioinformatics and Epidemiology Program within the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Division at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. She also holds appointments as Professor in the Public Health Sciences Division and Member of the Translational Data Science Integrated Research Center (TDS IRC).
Her research focuses on statistical design and analysis of vaccine efficacy trials, with specialization in HIV prevention and vaccine science. Key interests include:
- Statistical methods for biomarker evaluation
- Pediatric vaccine trials
- Human challenge studies
- Risk prediction modeling
- Treatment decision optimization
