Holly Divine is a Clinical Professor and Assistant Dean of External Studies at the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. She oversees experiential education curriculum and coordinates the Integrated Drugs & Diseases-Endocrinology course. Her expertise spans diabetes/obesity management, aging populations, pharmacy practice innovation, and educational research.
Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (University of Kentucky) and Bachelor of Science (University of Kentucky). She has over 20 years of ambulatory care experience, including founding the PharmacistCARE program (awarded ASHP Best Practices and APhA Pinnacle awards) and directing UK’s PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residency Program for 17 years.
Research focuses on improving diabetes care, interprofessional education, and pharmacist roles in community health. She advocates for telehealth access for underserved populations and judicious drug use to prevent complications. Her work emphasizes patient-centered care models and pharmacist-led interventions in chronic disease management.
Notable recognitions include the UK Provost’s Outstanding Teaching Award (2015) and APhA’s Excellence in Precepting Award (2010).
