Hiroyoshi Mitake

Hiroyoshi Mitake is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, University of Tokyo. His research focuses on nonlinear partial differential equations, particularly Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equations, mean curvature flows, and systems arising in mean field game theory and stochastic optimal control.

• Viscosity solution theory for nonlinear PDEs
• Connections between PDEs and dynamical systems
• Applications to geometric flows and optimal control
• Weak KAM theory and Aubry-Mather theory
• Mean field games and Fokker-Planck/HJB systems
