Hiroshi Oguri is the Fred Kavli Professor of Theoretical Physics and Mathematics at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) and serves as the Director of the Walter Burke Institute for Theoretical Physics. He is also a University Professor at the University of Tokyo. His academic journey includes tenured positions at the University of Tokyo (1986–1989), Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton (1989–1994), and the University of California, Berkeley (1994–2000) before joining Caltech in 2000.
