Hillary Kolar

Hillary Kolar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nursing at Clarkson College, where she has served since 2019. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and a Master of Science in Nursing Education (MSN) from Clarkson College. Her clinical practice focuses on Labor and Delivery at Methodist Women’s Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska, with experience in gynecological, maternity, and post-partum care. She previously worked as a clinical nurse educator at Nebraska Methodist Bellevue.

Her research and teaching interests emphasize women’s health and nursing education, particularly in maternal care. She teaches NS 343: Nursing Care of Women and Childbearing Families at Clarkson College. Kolar is actively involved in community service, volunteering with the Women’s Center for Advancement and St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church and School.
