Hilde J.P. Weerts

Hilde J.P. Weerts is an Assistant Professor at Eindhoven University of Technology, affiliated with the Department of Data Mining within the School of Mathematics and Computer Science. Her research focuses on algorithmic fairness, machine learning ethics, and mitigating discrimination in AI systems. She obtained her MSc and PhD (2025 thesis) from TU/e, with a background in interpretable machine learning and fraud detection systems.
