Hilary Edgington

Hilary Edgington is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology and Life Science Instruction Specialist at The College of Wooster. Her research applies population genetics and bioinformatics to study evolutionary processes in natural populations.

Current investigations focus on reconstructing population histories using genomic datasets and analyzing regulatory variation through computational approaches. Teaching includes foundational biology courses and research methodology training.

Educational background includes a Ph.D. from University of Virginia (2015) and B.A. from College of Wooster (2010), creating strong ties to undergraduate research pedagogy within Wooster's independent study model.
