Hetal Patel

Hetal Patel, M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, providing patient care in intensive care units and pulmonary consult services.

• Joined UTSW faculty in 2010 after completing medical education and training there
• Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in pulmonary and critical care medicine

Research & Clinical Interests include chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, airway diseases, and simulation-based medical education. She leads the Internal Medicine Simulation Program and the Allergy, Immunology, and Pulmonary Clinic.
