Professor Herbert Kronke is a distinguished legal scholar specializing in Private International Law, Commercial Law, and Arbitration. Currently affiliated with the Faculty of Law at the University of Heidelberg since 1993, he has held significant academic and international roles, including Secretary-General of UNIDROIT (1998–2008) and visiting professorships at Georgetown University, McGill University, and institutions in Brazil, Italy, and the U.S.
