Herbert Golder is a Professor of Classical Studies at Boston University and Editor-in-Chief of Arion: A Journal of Humanities and the Classics. He holds a B.A. from Boston University (summa cum laude), followed by M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees from Yale University, with additional study at Oxford. His research focuses on Greek tragedy, literary translation, and the intersection of classical works with film and modern culture.
