Henrik Torjusen

Henrik Torjusen is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Nordic literary studies at the University of Agder. He has served as subject manager for Denmark's recent literature at snl.no since 2014, curating contemporary Danish literary works for the encyclopedia platform.

His research spans modern literary traditions across Nordic and transatlantic contexts, with particular emphasis on:

• Nordic Literature as a foundational framework
• Modern Literature spanning 20th-21st century developments
• Danish Literature including contemporary fiction
• Norwegian Literature within Scandinavian contexts
• American Literature for comparative analysis
