Henning Samtleben

Henning Samtleben is a Professor of Theoretical Physics at the Laboratoire de physique of École Normale Supérieure de Lyon (ENS de Lyon). He holds a doctorate from the University of Hamburg and the Max-Planck Institute of Gravitational Physics (2006). His career includes postdoctoral research at ENS Paris and the University of Utrecht, followed by an Assistant Professorship at Hamburg before joining ENS Lyon. His research focuses on supergravity, string theory, field theory, and integrable systems.

Key research areas include exceptional field theories, gauged supergravities, holographic methods, and AdS/CFT correspondence. He has contributed to the study of consistent truncations, non-perturbative string theory, and higher-derivative corrections in supergravity.
