Heng Fan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of North Texas, with affiliated faculty status in the Department of Data Science. He leads the LLaVi Lab and holds editorial positions at Pattern Recognition and serves as an Area Chair for major conferences including ICCV and NeurIPS. He earned his B.S. from Huazhong Agricultural University (2013) and Ph.D. from Stony Brook University (2021), advised by Professor Haibin Ling.
