Helmuth Albrecht

Helmuth Albrecht is a Full Professor of History of Technology and Industrial Archaeology at Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg in Germany, serving as Head of the Institute for Industrial Archaeology, History of Science and Technology since 1997. He holds memberships with ICOMOS and the TICCIH Board of Directors. His research focuses on industrial heritage preservation, particularly documenting political/social frameworks and key actors shaping industrial heritage in the GDR (1950s–1990 reunification).
