Helianthe S.M. Kort

Helianthe S.M. Kort is a Full Professor at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) and Chair of the Building Lighting Research group. She holds additional roles as Full Professor at Utrecht University of Applied Sciences and Visiting Professor at Coventry University. Her work focuses on the intersection of built environments, healthcare, and aging, emphasizing gerontechnology, thermal comfort, and smart technologies. She leads initiatives like the Healthy Building Movement and serves on committees including ZonMw (Dutch healthcare research organization), the Herman Bouma Foundation for Gerontechnology, and the International Society for Gerontechnology (ISG).

Education: PhD in Built Environment (TU/e), MSc in Medical Biology (Utrecht University).
