Helge Langseth is a Professor at the Department of Computer Technology and Informatics, within the Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). His research focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Probabilistic Graphical Models, particularly Bayesian Networks and their applications in Decision Support Systems.
Langseth's work addresses Explainable AI (XAI), Reinforcement Learning, and Recommender Systems. He has contributed to Bayesian Optimization, Probabilistic Modeling, and Robotic Control in oceanic environments.
