Prof. Dr. Helga Schmid is a Professor of Design Theory and Design Research at the Design Department of Potsdam University of Applied Sciences. Her academic journey includes a PhD in Visual Communication from the Royal College of Art, an MFA in Design from the School of Visual Arts (New York), and a Diploma in Communication Design from Fachhochschule Augsburg.
