Helga Hejny

Helga Hejny is a full-time Senior Lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University's Faculty of Business and Law, Department of Economics, Finance and Law. Her expertise spans Comparative Law, Constitutional Law, Environmental Law, European Law, Human Rights, Public International Law, and Labour Law with specialized focus on Business and Human Rights and Blockchain applications in legal frameworks.

Her research centers on Age Discrimination in financial services, Blockchain technology applications, Business and Human Rights (specifically UN Guiding Principles), and Social Inclusion. She has conducted significant work on age discrimination in financial services across Italy, UK, and Austria, and explored intersections between blockchain technology and legal frameworks during her 2019 visiting research at Loyola Law School.

Her publications demonstrate consistent focus on age-related legal issues across employment, financial services, and intergenerational workforce dynamics, with growing emphasis on emerging technologies like blockchain. Awards include Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (2017).
