Helena Lindgren

Helena Lindgren is a Professor at Karolinska Institutet and a visiting professor at the University of Gondar (Ethiopia) and the University of Nairobi (Kenya). Her research focuses on maternal and child health, particularly birth injuries prevention, midwifery-led care, and global health equity. She leads the MIDWIZE project to improve care in low-resource settings and the EMMA program addressing migrant women's healthcare needs.
