Helen Solterer is a Professor of Romance Studies at Duke University's Trinity College of Arts & Sciences since 2010. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Toronto (1986). Her research bridges premodern French literature with contemporary thought, focusing on gender studies, medieval cultural debates, and the interplay between migration and cultural identity.
