Helen Parretti

Dr. Helen Parretti is Consultant Clinical Associate Professor at Norwich Medical School, combining academic work with clinical practice as an obesity physician. Her research develops evidence-based weight management interventions for primary care settings, including the Weigh2Go and PIMMS-WL trials. She co-developed NHS England guidelines for postoperative bariatric care and contributes to diabetes management protocols.

Research utilizes mixed methods including clinical trials, primary care database analysis, and qualitative studies on patient experiences. Current projects investigate care access during COVID-19 and community weight management services for mental health populations.
