Helen A. “Nellie” Drew is a Professor of Practice in Sports Law and Director of the UB Center for the Advancement of Sport at the University at Buffalo School of Law. Her research focuses on the intersection of sports law with data analytics, sports medicine, and public policy to promote safe sports participation. She has expertise in Title IX compliance, collective bargaining in professional sports, and dispute resolution mechanisms in leagues like the NHL.
