Heikki Salonen

Heikki Salonen is a University Teacher at the Law School, Faculty of Social Sciences and Business Studies at the University of Eastern Finland. His research focuses on environmental law, particularly the regulation of soundscapes within Finnish Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) procedures. He teaches courses such as Natural Resources and Nature Conservation Law, Environmental Protection Law, and Introduction to Environmental Law. His work examines how legal frameworks address soundscape preservation and the gaps between legislative requirements and practical implementation in wind power projects.
