Heidi Rolfe

Heidi Rolfe is a Piano Tutor at the School of Languages, Arts and Societies, University of Sheffield. She holds a Master's degree in Piano Performance and has been recognized for her concerto performances, receiving the gift of a Grand Piano. Her career spans performance, education, and composition, with a repertoire emphasizing female composers and contemporary works.

• Collaborated with C.B.S.O. players and premiered Tarot Conway’s Piano Concerto
• Active examiner for ABRSM and published composer of educational works

Her research interests focus on piano pedagogy, chamber music partnerships, and interdisciplinary music-drama performances. She has performed at festivals including Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival and Wigmore Hall's Piano Duo Day.

Heidi co-founded the piano duo Rolfe & Frith with her husband Benjamin Frith, specializing in four-hand and two-piano arrangements of works like Holst's Planets Suite and Schubert's compositions. Their collaborations include symphonic chamber arrangements with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
