Heidi Phillips

Heidi Phillips is a John A. Coyne Professor and Professor in Veterinary Clinical Medicine at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, affiliated with the Veterinary Teaching Hospital and Carl R. Woese Institute for Genomic Biology. Her research focuses on veterinary oncology, surgical innovations, and biomedical engineering applications in animal health. Notable contributions include studies on canine and feline cancer treatment outcomes, laser-assisted surgery techniques, and collagen-based biomaterials.

Research interests span veterinary medicine, cell biology, and translational biomedical technologies.
