Heidi Fletcher

Dr. Heidi Fletcher is a Professor of Chemistry at Waynesburg University, teaching general chemistry, biochemistry, and physical chemistry. She advises biochemistry majors and leads the Gamma Sigma Epsilon chemistry honor society chapter. Active in professional organizations, she serves on the American Chemical Society’s Exam Committee and organizes high school participation in the National Chemistry Olympiad.

Her research focuses on analytical methods for addiction-related neuropeptides, stabilizing curcumin’s anti-inflammatory properties, pharmaceutical quality analysis via DPAL (focusing on amoxicillin-clavulanate), and designing 3D-printed microfluidic devices.
