Hedisson Mota

Hedisson Pereira Mota is a Lecturer at Lusófona University of Humanities and Technologies in Lisbon, teaching in the fields of music and audio production. He is currently completing his PhD in Media Arts at the same university and works as a researcher at CICANT (Lusófona University Research Center).

• Education: BA in Music Sciences from NOVA University of Lisbon, Master's in Multimedia Communication from Aberta University
• Certifications: AVID Certified Instructor (Pro Tools) from Pinewood Studios (UK) and Edinburgh Napier University

His research focuses on the intersection of music and audiovisual communication, particularly socio-semiotic and semiotic approaches. He has contributed to academic publications like the 2021 book chapter on socio-semiotic perspectives in Madrid: McGraw Hill and a 2013 conference article on music and cinema.

With over two decades of professional experience, he has composed and produced music for television programs, documentaries, and commercials, including works for TPA (Angola), RTP, and ZON channels. His creative projects span genres and formats, from institutional media to advertising soundtracks.
