Hector Marin Moreno

Héctor Marín Moreno is a Lecturer in Climate Sciences at the University of Southampton's School of Ocean and Earth Science. His research focuses on geoscience solutions for offshore renewable energy, geological CO₂/H₂ storage, and marine methane emissions. He holds a PhD from the University of Southampton (2014) and has held roles at institutions like the National Oceanography Centre and the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute. His teaching includes modules on environmental geology, geotechnics, and carbon capture.
