Associate Professor Heather Shepherd is an Associate Professor and Principal Research Fellow at the Susan Wakil School of Nursing and Midwifery, University of Sydney. She co-leads the Implementation Science Academy at Sydney Health Partners and is affiliated with the Sydney Health Literacy Lab. Her roles include advancing health communication, shared decision-making, and implementation science in healthcare settings. She holds a PhD from the University of Sydney (2008) and a NHMRC Public Health Postdoctoral Fellowship (2009).
