Dr. Heather Sharkey is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine (UNE COM) and affiliated with the Portland Campus for the Health Sciences. Her career spans clinical practice, research, and medical education. She holds board certifications in Family Medicine and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine/Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (NMM/OMM).
Education: B.S. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Rutgers College (Howard Hughes Medical Institute Fellowship recipient), M.D. from UNE COM, and post-doctoral training in Family Medicine and NMM/OMM at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center.
