Heather Seipke is an Associate Professor of Communication Studies in the Department of Language and Communication and serves as Program Director at the College of Arts, Sciences and Education, University of Michigan-Flint.

Her research interests span Communication Studies, Media Communication, Interpersonal Communication, Digital Communication, Organizational Communication, and Rhetoric. These areas reflect her engagement with both theoretical and applied aspects of communication within diverse social and technological contexts.
As Program Director, she oversees academic initiatives while teaching courses such as IDS 301: Intro to Lifelong Learning, COM 391: Directed Readings in Communication, COM 398: Internship in Communication, IDS 497: Lifelong Learning Capstone, and HON 498: Honors Thesis Seminar.
