Heather Millar

Heather Millar is an Associate Professor of Political Science specializing in energy and climate policy at the University of New Brunswick. Her research examines policy variation in environmental regulation and decarbonization strategies.

Research Focus: Provincial energy transitions, hydraulic fracturing regulations, climate policy implementation, and risk governance. Current projects analyze decarbonization pathways in Atlantic Canada's electricity sector and cryptocurrency mining regulation.
