Heather Laird is Senior Lecturer in English at University College Cork, focusing on Irish postcolonial studies, agrarian conflict, and commemoration. She holds a PhD from University College Dublin.
Her research examines resistance practices, historical memory, and class/gender dynamics in Irish cultural production.
