Hazel Jensen

Hazel Jensen is a Senior Lecturer at the AECC School of Chiropractic within Health Sciences University. She teaches across Chiropractic Pre-Registration courses and the Health Sciences Education Postgraduate program. Her roles include Course Leader, Framework Leader, and contributions to the School’s leadership team. Hazel has expertise in curriculum reviews, validations, and academic administration.

• Pursuing an Education Doctorate (EdD) at the University of Reading, focusing on supporting students with disabilities in health professions.

Research Interests: Paediatric practical skills development, assessment methodology refinement, professionalism in healthcare, and improving educational support for students with disabilities. She actively contributes to Health Professions Education research.

Collaborations: Works closely with Student Services to enhance academic and wellbeing support systems for students. Engaged in cross-departmental initiatives to address accessibility in healthcare education.
