Prof. Hayri KAPLAN is a full-time Professor and Head of the Department of Sufism at the Social Sciences University of Ankara's Faculty of Islamic Sciences. He has held academic positions at Çukurova University and Ankara University since 1999, specializing in Anatolian Islamic Thought and Sufism. His research focuses on historical figures like Fahruddin al-Razi, Mawlana, and Hacı Bayram-ı Veli, as well as Sufi orders such as Rifa'ism and Mevleviism. He is actively involved in creating a digital library of Islamic manuscripts and leads projects on Sufi literature preservation.
Education: B.A. (1988), M.A. (1995), Ph.D. (2001) from Ankara University's Faculty of Theology and Institute of Social Sciences.
