Hayley Walker

Hayley Walker is a Lecturer in Physiotherapy at the University of Northampton (UON), joining in 2021 to develop the MSc Physiotherapy (pre-registration) programme and lead apprenticeship initiatives aligned with UON's Learning and Teaching strategic priorities.

• Focuses on fostering student collaboration, critical reflection, and advocacy for quality improvement
• Teaches modules: Enhancing Professionalism and Collaborative Practice, Leading Innovative Change in Practice, Evidence-based Neuromusculoskeletal Practice, Managing Complexity throughout the Lifespan, Emerging Autonomous Professional Practice, and Enquiry-Based Project (Dissertation)
• Member of the practice education team, leading Physiotherapy placement capacity strategy and clinical educator training

Her research emphasizes positive social impact, sustainability, and quality in person-centered health and social care. She specializes in musculoskeletal physiotherapy with expertise in systems leadership and workforce development.
