Haseena Rajeevan

Haseena Rajeevan is a Research Scientist in the Department of Biomedical Informatics & Data Science at Yale School of Medicine. She earned her Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences from Cochin University of Science and Technology and an M.S. in Computer Science from University of New Haven. Her research focuses on biomedical informatics, population genetics, and clinical database development.

Key research areas include health data sharing platforms, machine learning applications for respiratory disease management, and clinical decision support systems for opioid use disorder. She leads projects like the Allele Frequency Database (ALFRED) and FROG-kb forensic genetics knowledgebase.
