Harshal Mahajan is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Health & Kinesiology at the College of Applied Health Sciences, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He serves as the Assistant Director of Research for the McKechnie Family LIFE Home and mentors students in the M.S. in Health Technology program.

Dr. Mahajan’s research focuses on human factors and aging, particularly evaluating interventions to address fear of falling in individuals with multiple sclerosis. Dr. Mahajan is the principal investigator for a NIDILRR-funded Disability and Rehabilitation Research Projects grant, advancing clinical research in neurological rehabilitation. He also contributes to academic training through supervision of students in the Health Technology program.
