About
Dr. Harry Marks is a Lecturer in High Frequency Electronic Engineering at the School of Engineering, Lancaster University. His research focuses on Free Electron Laser Oscillators, Vacuum Arcs/Propulsion, Low Level RF systems, and mm-Wave technologies, with applications in accelerator physics and high-gradient RF structures.
His work includes projects such as LLRF for high powered facility researching high gradient RF Structures (2022–2022) and Thin film SRF cavity testing (2021–2026), alongside a current grant:
- Cockcroft Core Grant (2025–2028)
He leads the RF Engineering of Accelerators at Lancaster (REAL) research group and advises PhD students
