Harry Buhrman is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Amsterdam and leader of the Algorithms and Complexity group at Centrum Wiskunde en Informatica (CWI) in Amsterdam.
His research focuses on Computational Complexity, Algorithms, and Theoretical Computer Science. He has taught the Computational Complexity course multiple times at UvA, covering foundational topics including P vs NP, circuit complexity, probabilistic algorithms, and interactive proofs as reflected in his course syllabi from February 2017, September 2015, and April-June 2014 editions.
He leads the Algorithms and Complexity research group at CWI, the Netherlands' national institute for mathematics and computer science, based at Science Park 123 in Amsterdam.
