Harrison Prosper

Harrison Prosper is a Professor in the Department of Physics at Florida State University (FSU). He earned his Ph.D. in Experimental Physics from the University of Manchester in 1980, followed by post-doctoral work at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, Virginia Tech, and Fermilab. He joined FSU's faculty in 1993. His research spans high-energy physics, cosmology, and computational methodologies.

Research Focus: Key areas include Bayesian statistical analysis, experimental particle physics (notably the discovery of the top quark), and cosmological investigations. He maintains active collaboration with CERN's CMS experiment and previously contributed to Fermilab's Dzero project.
