Harriet Thomson

Professor Harriet Thomson is a Professor of Energy, Sustainability and Inequality at the University of Glasgow, specializing in the intersection of energy systems, public policy, and structural inequalities. She leads research on energy poverty, climate policy, and socially just transitions to net zero, with a focus on Europe and Latin America. Her work emphasizes participatory methods and collaboration with policymakers, communities, and international organizations like the UN and European Commission.
