Harriet Rolnick

Harriet Rolnick is a Professor and Associate Dean at Southwestern Law School, where she directs the SCALE® accelerated J.D. program. With 20 years' experience as a federal prosecutor and civil litigator, she specializes in tort law and legal education innovation.

She earned her J.D. magna cum laude from Southwestern Law School and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Miami. Prior to academia, she served as Assistant U.S. Attorney for 14 years, handling complex criminal cases involving securities fraud, narcotics, and child exploitation. Her article 'The Rise of the Two Year Programs' analyzes curricular reforms in legal education.

As Director of SCALE®, she oversees admissions, curriculum development, and student counseling, integrating practical legal experience with pedagogical advancement.
