Harold James is the Claude and Lore Kelly Professor in European Studies and Professor of History and International Affairs at Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School. He is also affiliated with the Bendheim Center for Finance and serves as the official historian of the International Monetary Fund. His work bridges economic history, globalization studies, and European political economy, with a focus on 20th-century crises, monetary policy, and institutional development.
